Jenny Holzer’s Truisms is a collection of her hand-typed “one-liners” which were her own quotes of her opinions and views on things like emotions, and her own insights. Her quotes have been used in different mediums to installations on buildings, apparel and museums.
These designs were done in photoshop using the gradient map and color halftones. The type is Gal Gothic Heavy which I chose for it’s thickness to get the point of the messages across. The imagary was chosen based off of the quotes themselves.
